Who’s the artist?

Zoe Stallard, 22 July 202524 September 2025

💫❓️Who’s the artist❓️💫

Hello there! I’m Zoe Stallard, an artist based in Oxfordshire, UK. Since 2019 I’ve evolved my brand — from Fox and Lion Designs to Fox and Lion Creative — and more recently I’ve rebranded under my own name: Zoe Stallard – Artist. I created this space to share my passion for creativity.

My chosen medium is acrylic paint, but I love to experiment — textures, mixed media, and anything that pushes the boundaries. You’ll find works in embroidery hoops, textured pieces built with jointing compound (wall filler), and more.

A few things about me:

  1. Creating isn’t my only passion — I’ve worked in the fitness industry since 2010. I love crafting workouts, playlists, and classes that motivate people, help them grow confidence, and make fitness fun.
  2. I’m drawn to quiet, meaningful living. As I get older, I find myself preferring the calm of small family life over the bustle of town. One day, I’d love to live on a small farm.
  3. I’m a big reader and a proofreader in my spare time. Romance is my go-to genre, though good thrillers are hard to resist. One of my dreams is to proofread novels before they’re published.

I’d love for you to follow along on this creative journey! You can find me on Instagram @zoestallardartist and Facebook /foxandlioncreative.

Thanks for stopping by! If you’d like to dive deeper into my creative world, you can explore my blog for more about my work, process, and techniques — or visit my shop to browse my latest pieces

Updated name, updated logo…what does this mean? Original name ‘Fox and Lion Designs’ was born in the first lock down. Whilst at the time I loved this image and name; over time I felt really disconnected and it actually felt quite restricting. Busy life as we all know means less…

Art sessions 3.0 – Still life study

For the third art sessions we chose a traditional still life, using whatever items we could find within the studio. This ended up being old vases, jugs and a gravy boat. Simple items that I could really focus in on shape and detail. We also decided to set up some…

Art Sessions 5.0 – “Speed Art”

14 April 202414 April 2024

This was a really fun morning with Amira Hasoon. Take the concept of speed dating but instead of changing potential dates after a certain time, you swap your canvas instead. We chose to use a random prompt generator to give us a topic and we swapped paper every 1minute. 4…
