Review: My First Custom Order from Jackson’s Art

Zoe Stallard, 10 October 2025

As someone who loves to paint, I’ve ordered plenty of art supplies over the years, but this was my first time commissioning a custom canvas and frame. After doing some online research, ‘Jackson’s Art Supplies’ https://www.jacksonsart.com/ looked great so I decided to give their custom service a try — and I’m so glad I did.

From start to finish, the ordering process was smooth and incredibly easy to follow. Their website made it simple view my options and even when I was unsure of how their custom ordering worked, their customer service team were fab over email. I also had a couple of questions about payment, and Jackson’s customer service team was quick to respond. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.

When my order arrived, everything was securely packaged, and it was immediately obvious how much care had gone into the presentation of my order. The black tray frame (which I haven’t built yet) looks beautiful — solid, sleek, and perfectly finished with a lovely subtle grain. The canvas itself is tightly stretched and of excellent quality, ready for me to get started on my latest commission.

This was my first time ordering custom pieces from Jackson’s, but after this experience, it definitely won’t be my last. They have an amazing selection of art supplies from paints and inks, to paper, canvases and more. If you’re an artist looking for high-quality materials and reliable service, I can’t recommend Jackson’s Art enough!
